Hello to complicated Readings!

Today I got much relieved after knowing that not only me had difficulties in reading the article by Larsen-Freeman & Cameron (2008). This Complex Systems theory could be explained in a very simple way, but to get the main idea I had to spend all 2 hours of my laundry time :) Again these complicated research articles, uhhh! It was good that we draw trees and shared what we understood from the articles. It really helped me to create a big picture in my mind.

In this class I also learned how to use "right click" in Mac (which of course doesn't exist in it). Definitely, I'm making progress in using Mac. Yahooooo!!!! :) Thanks Senta!

  1. I like your picture and had to laugh at your comment about the laundry. I used to grade and do most of my reading at the laundromat when I was in grad school. I thought those days were over, but just yesterday my washing machine finally gave up completely (we had been able to fix it the last few times, but now it is really dead). So, as I was yelling and cursing at the washing-machine, I also remembered all the fun times at my favorite laundry place. Wednesday mornings at 6am with the nurse, the air force guy, the homeless dude who live there, and my grad school readings. I started thinking about what fun reading I could do while at the corner laundry place.

  2. Wow... you must have had adventurous times in your grad school years :)) Indeed, studying is very hard, but at the time you experience so many things that later you remember with a smile in your face.
